Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This is an urgent, immediate start position for an 8-week contract with a flexible schedule of 4x10 hour shifts. Experience in pediatrics is required.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 4x10 hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00
• Night Shift: 4x10 hour shifts from 21:00 to 08:00
• Variable start times
• Weekend and holiday availability required, with on-call duties
• Call requirements: 4 calls per 4-week schedule (including night call)

Responsibilities

The clinician will provide care in various service lines, including but not limited to:

• Orthopedics
• Neuro
• Craniofacial
• ENT
• Dermatology
• Laser and Plastics
• Endoscopy
• Dental
• Urology
• General Surgery (including videoscopy)
• Cardiac, Neuro, Kidney, and Liver Transplants

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with at least 6 months of pediatric experience, particularly in general surgical settings
• National Certifications: BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA)
• California RN license required; pending state license accepted with estimated time of arrival for posting
• Ability to float within the scope of practice

Patient Care Details

• Daily census of 80-100 patients
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more

• Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions are allowed
• Travelers must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
