Automotive Service Advisor
Location: Oswego, Illinois
Compensation: Competitive Base Pay + Commission + Benefits
Overview
A thriving, family-owned powerhouse independent automotive repair shop in Oswego, IL is looking for a driven and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team. This is a high-volume, high-energy shop with a strong reputation in the community and a loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and manage the service experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.
- Write and manage repair orders, present recommendations, and provide accurate estimates.
- Build strong customer relationships through transparency, communication, and follow-through.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs.
- Track approvals, follow up consistently, and hit daily and monthly sales goals.
- Maintain high CSI while driving strong ARO and overall shop performance.
- Keep the front end organized, professional, and running smoothly.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor (independent shop preferred).
- Strong sales ability with a customer-first approach.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems across domestic and import vehicles.
- Experience with shop management systems (Tekmetric, RO Writer, Mitchell, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated to earn.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
