**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Occupational Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: Occupational Therapist - **Unit**: Mental Health Rehabilitation Services - **Specialty**: OT Acute Care Hospital - **Shift**: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - **Travel Experience Required**: Yes (3+ years experience allows for screening to management) - **Years of Experience Required**: 2 years (2+ years highly preferred) **Preferred Certifications**: - BLS - California License - NBCOT **Preferred Skills**: - Prosthetics/Orthotics - Experience with above-knee and below-knee prosthetics **Work Settings**: - Acute Care - Adult Outpatient - Activities of Daily Living - Adaptive Equipment - Pre-Discharge Planning **Evaluation Tools**: - Adaptive Equipment Assessment (Adult) - Cognitive Assessment **Patient Diagnoses**: - CVA Rehabilitation - Amputee - Arthritis - Coma Management - Lower Extremity - Multiple Sclerosis - Spinal Cord Injury - Traumatic Brain Injury - Orthopedics - Other Progressive Neurological Disorders **Key Responsibilities**: - Acute care experience (Hard stop) - Assessment and planning of care - Patient and family education - Safety and injury prevention **Scheduling Type**: - 3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule - Pre-approved time off: 1 request **Daily Census**: - 8-10 patients - Focus on acute care/inpatient within a Level 2 Trauma Center **Special Procedures/Unit Details**: - Diverse patient care including CVA, Multiple Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Open Heart, General Medical, Oncology, Neuro, Spine, and Total Joint **Requirements**: - Acute care experience (Hard stop) - Experience in ICU is highly preferred - Must exhibit proficiency in assessments and functional activities - Local radius: 50 miles; reach out for local rates - Pending licenses accepted: No - Must include RTO restrictions at time of submission - Guaranteed hours with facility able to call off once per two-week pay period **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
