Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: July 14, 2026

Location: Southern California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:00 - 16:30). Primarily Monday through Friday with 3 weekend days required per 6-week schedule. 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.

Highlights:

• 488-bed acute care hospital with Level II Trauma and Stroke certification
• Well-rounded caseload including CVA, multiple trauma, cardiac, orthopedics, open heart, general medicine, oncology, neurology, spine, and total joint patients
• Daily census of 8-10 patients with Epic charting system
• Opportunity to cross-train at outpatient center if interested
• Free parking available
• Potential to float to other facilities within the region

Requirements:

• Active California Occupational Therapy license (must be in hand prior to start)
• NBCOT certification and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience required; 3+ years preferred for first-time travelers
• Acute care hospital experience required (hard stop)
• ICU experience highly preferred
• Travel healthcare experience required
• LA County fire card within the last 30 days
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
