Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk (Part-Time, Temporary)
Summary
Responsible for supporting core accounting functions with a focus on accounts receivable, credit processing, and general administrative support within the accounting department. This is a part-time temporary position , scheduled to work 3 days per week , with the assignment expected to end in December .
Key Responsibilities
High school diploma or GED required; prior accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Primarily sedentary role involving regular computer use, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and light physical movement as needed.
Work Environment
Office environment with moderate noise levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices via email
- Review and process credit approvals, including credit card transactions
- Post and reconcile cash receipts
- Perform collections activities and follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare and maintain customer credit documentation for review
- Maintain accurate customer account records and filing systems
- Support special accounting projects as assigned
- Assist with inventory costing processes
- Provide backup support for accounts payable functions
- Assist with order entry activities
- Maintain organized accounting files and records
- Provide phone coverage and support for accounting inquiries
High school diploma or GED required; prior accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and 10-key data entry
