People like you!Role SummaryThe Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver optimized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central (BC).This role focuses on requirements gathering, process improvement, solution design validation, testing coordination, and production support across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.Compensation (Canada Only): $111k - 125kThis salary range applies to roles based in Canada and is provided in accordance with local pay transparency requirements.Primary PlatformsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Finance & OperationsFinance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting)Procurement & SourcingInventory & WarehouseManufacturingSales & DistributionMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralFinancial managementSales & PurchasingInventory managementLight manufacturing / assemblyIntercompany processesKey Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & RequirementsGather and document functional requirements from Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.Conduct fit-gap analysis across F&O and Business Central.Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).Recommend process improvements aligned with Microsoft best practices.2. Solution Design & ConfigurationConfigure standard ERP functionality.Support chart of accounts, posting profiles, workflows, and approval hierarchies.Validate system setup across legal entities and business units.Ensure alignment with global template and governance standards.3. Testing & DeploymentDevelop test scripts and lead UAT sessions.Coordinate defect resolution with development team.Support data migration validation and reconciliation.Assist in go-live planning and hypercare support.4. Reporting & DataSupport reporting requirements including:Financial reportsOperational dashboardsKPI analysisWork with reporting teams to validate data integrity.Support integrations and master data governance.5. Production Support & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze incidents and recommend long-term solutions.Identify automation and optimization opportunities.Support enhancement backlog prioritization.Provide user training and documentation.Required Qualifications5+ years ERP Business Analyst experience.3+ years hands-on experience with D365 F&O and/or Business Central.Strong understanding of:Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Order-to-Cash (O2C)Record-to-Report (R2R)Inventory and costing processesExperience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.Strong stakeholder management skills.Technical SkillsERP configuration (F&O and/or BC)Understanding of:Data entitiesPosting logicDimensionsIntercompany accountingBasic knowledge of integrations (APIs, OData)Familiarity with:Microsoft Power BIMicrosoft Power PlatformSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to challenge business processes constructivelyClear documentation skillsAbility to work across technical and functional teamsComfortable in global, multi-entity environmentsPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional ConsultantMicrosoft Certified: Business Central Functional ConsultantAgile / Scrum certification (nice to have)Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
