Marketing Assistant

Location : Monday-Friday on site in Duluth, GA (remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered). About the Role Our client in the retail/wholesale space is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands. This role will work closely with marketing, creative, sales, and cross-functional teams to help coordinate projects and execute B2B and B2C marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys managing multiple priorities, staying organized, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital, print, promotional, and B2B channels. Coordinate projects, timelines, approvals, creative requests, and follow-up communications. Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including emails, social media content, newsletters, press releases, and promotional collateral. Conduct research on industry trends, media opportunities, publications, partnerships, and events to help increase brand awareness. Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, contact databases, and digital assets. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, sales partners, and other stakeholders to gather information and support marketing initiatives. Assist with trade shows, events, product launches, and promotional campaigns. Work closely with graphic designers and creative teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and deliverables are completed on time. Compile campaign performance data and assist with recurring marketing reports. Provide administrative and project support to the marketing department as needed. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proofreading, research, and organizational abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with email marketing, social media platforms, digital marketing concepts, and Microsoft Office applications.
