Michael Moore Agencyis a boutique theatrical literary agency based in New York City, representing a diverse roster of established creatives and emerging artists. Client Payments Manager/Royalties Associate We seek a part-time employment(25-30 hours per week)who has a working knowledge ofbookkeepingforaprofessional theatrical literary agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

processing ofall incoming payments scanning and digital filing of paymentsand documentation maintainingdaily payment-tracking recordingincoming and outgoingtransactions communicating with staffandclients standardbookkeepingtasksandother dutiesrelated to management of client remittances The right candidatemustdemonstrateattention to detail,sound judgment,discretion,and strong critical-thinking skills.They must be comfortable asking questions, investigating discrepancies, and identifying inconsistencies. Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with agents, assistants, clients, and outside agencies are essential.Prior experience with theatrical royalties and subsidiary rights is strongly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

familiaritywiththeatricalliteraryand talentrepresentation,commercial theatre,experience with royalties, subsidiary rights, client accounting, payment processing, bookkeeping accuracy and attention to detail strong analytical and reconciliation skills excellent communication skills ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized digital records comfortable learning and working across multiple financial, banking and industry-specific platforms working knowledge of thetheatricalindustry or a similar industry in which payments are split and distributed ispreferred experience with the database “InEntertainment” is a strong plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Michael Moore Agency
