Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries for compliance with site-specific requirements.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card is required.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a DD Form 214 documenting an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
