This per diem pharmacist opportunity involves providing retail pharmacy coverage from August 3rd to August 20th in the Bronx, New York. The role operates under the direct supervision of the manager and is focused on ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while offering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on proper medication use and regimens, and addressing patient inquiries and concerns following organizational guidelines. Additionally, maintaining stock levels and controlled drug records, managing inventories, and resolving patient issues—including clarifying third-party coverage—are key aspects of the position.

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of New York
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills for patient counseling
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle inventory management

• Brooklyn, NY (with coverage responsibilities in Bronx, NY)

Schedule:

• Per diem availability from August 3rd through August 20th
