Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3 x 11.5-hour shifts/week)
Hours: 34.5 Hours/Week
Local Pay: $57/hr on w2 (Without benefits)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel/Local Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong Neuro background to join a leading hospital in Manhattan, NY . The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor neurological patients and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, relationship-centered care.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
