Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Stepdown/Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading acute care hospital in  New York, NY . This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong cardiology and telemetry experience who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions.
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and VAD management.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in  EPIC .
• Follow evidence-based practices while ensuring quality and patient safety.

Requirements

Active  New York State RN License
BLS Certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
At least 2 years of Cardiology, Telemetry, or VAD experience
Minimum 1 year of recent travel experience  (Travel candidates only)
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
