Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at RMA of New York in Eastside, New York City. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (shifts assigned based on practice need); Weekend rotation, 6:45 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (shifts assigned based on practice need); Two holidays per year Compensation: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. In this role, the Patient Services Coordinator will: Interacting with patients; practicing effective, courteous communication Working the front desk Answering telephone and scheduling appointments Preparing charts; consistently ensuring appropriate forms are used Collecting patient payments due at the time of service; verifying accurate insurance information Good judgement and takes initiative Interpersonal skills: approachable, outgoing, and exhibit a professional disposition Passionate about providing excellent patient care Ability to work independently and as part of the team What You'll Bring We're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experienceindividuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. Qualifications and Skills Include: A successful candidate must possess a High School Degree, Associates or bachelor's preferred Strong verbal and reading skills Basic familiarity with computers and office devices Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft Suite) Medical office experience is a plus, interest in the field of reproductive medicine a must More important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
