Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty. License: RN license required. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required, Telemetry test must be passed prior to start. Must-Have: Experience with telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. Vent and transplant experience required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join an incredible team caring for a variety of patients. Patients may include those with lung and esophageal diseases, as well as patients undergoing surgical procedures such as lobectomies, decortications, and esophagectomies. The role includes assisting with procedures such as chest tube insertion in the procedure room. Candidates should be prepared to develop a dynamic general care/IMC unit through teamwork and compassionate care. Critical thinking and innovation are encouraged within the position. Integration of evidence-based nursing practices into the unit culture is expected. Prior ICU or IMC and surgical post-op experience is required. Telemetry certification must be obtained before starting. Candidates should be willing to float as needed as part of the role. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays may be required.
