Centralized Scheduling Coordinator

Supporting the Centralized/Integrated Scheduling department, the full-time Centralized Scheduling Coordinator will manage the coordination of surgeries, procedures, exams, and therapies for multiple hospital and outpatient departments while working remotely and communicating with various healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities Serve as the central communication point for referring physicians, patient services, and caregivers to secure necessary resources for patient care Receive and manage incoming phone calls related to scheduling and coordination, assisting patients and families throughout the pre-procedure process Maintain and update schedules for multiple departments, ensuring compliance with policies and addressing any conflicts or inaccuracies Required qualifications Associate Degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through education, training, and experience Minimum of 2 years of scheduling and health records experience in a hospital or healthcare setting Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems Knowledge of surgeries, procedures, and exams performed in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess strong keyboarding and computer skills
