Sandbox in Goddard, KS is looking for an energetic and passionate Sports Coordinator to join our team! - Plan, organize, and oversee sports programs, leagues, and recreational activities
- Coordinate schedules, facilities, and equipment for sporting events and practices
- Recruit, manage, and communicate with participants, coaches, and volunteers
- Enforce rules, safety guidelines, and sportsmanship standards across all programs
- Monitor program budgets and maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes
- Develop and promote new sports programming to grow community engagement
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to ensure smooth event execution
- Experience in sports coordination, recreation management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sports rules, athletic programming, and event planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude with a passion for sports and community
