Position Overview

We are looking for an empathetic and skilled Ultrasound Technologist / Sonography Specialist to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to exceptional patient care. You will navigate the latest in ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, while collaborating with a dedicated group of clinicians to alleviate fears and provide accurate imaging that guides treatment decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort during exams, explaining the process with compassion and detail
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring specialists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Diligently record procedures and manage patient documentation in our electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
