Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are currently working with UT Southwestern Medical Center at their Texas Health Clearfork Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. They are seeking a General Surgery NPPA for ongoing locum coverage starting September 1st. Surgical First Assist - NP/PA:
Seeking ongoing coverage starting September 1st
Hours 7a-3p
100% of time is spent on OR
Will be serving as the Primary First Assist
No bedside procedures
No management of patients independently in clinic or on the inpatient/surgical service
GynOnc: Monday and Thursday
Endo Surgery: Monday and Tuesday
Urology Oncology: Tuesday
General Surgery: Wednesday
ENT: 1 day a week (TBD)
Surgeons on the team:
- Urology (General and Uro-Oncology) 2 surgeons
- Gyn Onc 2 surgeons
- Endo Surgery 1 surgeon
- Otology 1 surgeon
Percentage of Robotic Cases:
- Urology -
- General 30%
- Uro-Oncology 60%
- Gyn Onc 80%
- Endo Surgery none
- Otology none
Surgical Volume per day or week:
- General about 2-3 cases per day
- Uro-Onc about 2-3 cases per day
- Gyn Onc about 2-3 cases per day
- Endo Surgery about 2-3 cases per day
- Otology about 2-3 cases per day
Must be Certified
Must have TX State License and DEA
Credentialing/Privileging: 60-90 Days
