Are you a highly organized professional with a strong background in collections who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Hunter Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Payment Coordinator to support our dealership operations by taking ownership of delinquent accounts, processing payments, closing car deals, and completing required paperwork. Your collections expertise will help us maintain healthy accounts while ensuring all documentation is fully compliant with applicable state and federal laws.

While automotive dealership experience is a plus, a proven track record in collections and a positive, detail-oriented attitude are what will make you successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect on delinquent accounts.
• Close car deals and accurately process payments.
• Complete all required paperwork thoroughly and accurately.
• Ensure all processes and documentation maintain compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of proven experience in collections, account management, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing accounts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask, negotiate effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proficiency with office software (Excel, Word, dealer management systems a plus).
• Strong communication skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
