Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential respiratory care as a valued clinical professional in a dynamic acute-care setting. This contract opportunity focuses on treating adult patients and utilizes your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist—whether registered or certified. Contribute to the respiratory health and recovery of individuals by delivering thorough assessment, intervention, and support as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour day shifts
• 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Active and valid state licensure, or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Proven clinical experience in an acute or hospital setting (preferably working with adult populations)
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapies, ventilator management, and medical gases
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to effectively respond to emergencies in a calm and proficient manner

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor adult patients with respiratory or cardiac conditions
• Administer a range of respiratory therapies, including aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy, and airway management
• Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory support devices
• Recommend and implement care plans in coordination with physicians and nursing staff
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use
• Document all care and treatment accurately and in compliance with facility policies
• Actively participate in emergency codes and rapid response scenarios

$2,516 - $2,652/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
