Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour night shifts per week
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid and unrestricted state respiratory care practitioner license
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services in accordance with established protocols
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ responses to therapy, making timely recommendations for care adjustments
• Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care delivery
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory procedures and best practices for disease management
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including rapid response and code situations
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with facility standards and confidentiality regulations
