Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An excellent opportunity is available for a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide essential care in a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist motivated to deliver compassionate patient care alongside a collaborative and skilled healthcare team.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Proven experience in acute care or hospital respiratory therapy preferred
• Valid professional license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, and oxygen therapy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient safety and quality care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory treatments and therapies according to provider orders and established protocols
• Monitor, assess, and document patient response to therapy and adjust as warranted
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry
• Initiate and manage ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and care plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the overall patient care plan
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care

$2,516 - $2,652/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
