Warehouse Manager

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting production schedules, and ensuring an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. This role performs inventory control activities, analyzes data, supports process improvements, and collaborates closely with Purchasing, Production, Project Management, Finance, and other internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & ERP (if applicable) Interpret and analyze numerical data to support inventory decision-making Perform inventory control tasks in ERP (preferred, not required), including: Tracking inventory movements and initiating transfers Processing stock adjustments and creating inventory receipts Supporting reverse logistics and returns to inventory Conduct cycle counts and address inventory discrepancies Monitor and maintain: Zero-balance items High-value inventory items Process Improvement & Reporting Identify opportunities to improve inventory management accuracy and productivity Practice continuous improvement concepts and propose solutions to issues identified Learn and apply 6S methodologies to improve workplace organization Prepare and deliver regular reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and team performance Provide data and insights to support operational and production planning Operational Support & Coordination Ensure all required documentation and materials are available and properly maintained in assigned work areas Manage the return of materials to inventory, including documentation and physical handling Communicate effectively with Purchasing, Shop Personnel, Project Management, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely information flow Review schedules, identify risks or issues, and develop workarounds and contingencies Expedite materials and information as required to support on-time completion of schedule milestones Develop product knowledge related to materials used in the manufacture and support of company projects and equipment Understand equipment build sequences to best support the production schedule Core Competencies Analytical & Problem Solving: Able to synthesize complex information, analyze data, and develop effective solutions Customer Service: Responds promptly, manages difficult situations professionally, and meets commitments Communication: Clear oral and written communication; participates effectively in meetings; able to interpret written information Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required 4–6 years of experience in an inventory/warehouse environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Requirements / Essential Job Functions Medium work: exerting up to 20–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly #J-18808-Ljbffr
