Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for safely setting up and machining complex metal components to meet customer requirements, adhering to drawing and print specifications.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate CNC lathes proficiently.
* Utilize overhead cranes as needed for material handling.
* Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
* Read and interpret prints to ensure adherence to customer requirements.

EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Vocational training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum 3 years of experience operating medium to large horizontal CNC lathes.
* Preferably experienced with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls.
* Ability to perform basic programming using Mazatrol and Fanuc systems.
* Experience working with long, tubular components and maintaining tolerances of +/-0.001".
* Familiarity with nickel, titanium super-alloys, carbon, and stainless steels.
* Proficient in MS Office; competent in basic computer skills.
WORK CONDITIONS:
* Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery and equipment noise.
* Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Potential exposure to metalworking fluids and chemicals
HOURS: 2nd Shift (2 pm -10 pm)
3rd Shift (10 pm - 6 am)
*** Weekday and weekend OT may be requested***
