Job Description
Title: Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule: Days

Requirements:
- 1 year of acute care PT experience
- New Mexico PT license (pending acceptance)
- BLS certification
- Experience with acute care assessments, gait training, and post-op ortho/spine rehabilitation
- Familiarity with neurology, stroke rehabilitation, and patient/family education

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in an acute care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Facilitate patient mobility and assist with gait training using assistive devices.
- Monitor vital signs and manage oxygen delivery as needed.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours, with modules completed during orientation.
- Background checks and other compliance measures required.
