The Landing Eatery and Pub is seeking a motivated and dependable Shift Manager to help lead our team and ensure every guest receives outstanding service. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts, supporting team members, and maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and efficiency.

As a Shift Manager, you’ll lead by example while working closely with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and support team members to create a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering great hospitality in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Lead restaurant operations during your shift to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow

• Supervise and support servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff

• Monitor service quality and ensure guests receive prompt, friendly hospitality

• Step in to assist team members wherever needed during busy service periods

• Address guest questions, feedback, or concerns professionally and promptly

• Ensure every guest has a positive dining experience from arrival to departure

• Maintain a welcoming and hospitable environment throughout the restaurant

• Assist with training, coaching, and supporting team members

• Help build a strong, positive team culture

• Communicate clearly with staff to ensure expectations and procedures are understood

• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant

• Ensure all team members follow company service procedures and policies

• Support opening and closing procedures for the restaurant

• Assist with shift reports and operational documentation

• Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate register procedures

• Support scheduling and staffing needs as directed by management

• Previous restaurant leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
