Family Partner After School Program Revere, MA, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 4369 Salary Range: $23,750.00 To $28,359.00 Annually NSCS is looking for a Family Partner to join our Children's After School Program (CASP). The Children’s After School Program is a therapeutic program for youth ages 7-13. The program provides milieu treatment including behavior management/modification and facilitation of therapeutic groups. The Family Partner is a paraprofessional that reports to the Program Manager. This position is designed for someone with lived experience as a parent or direct caregiver of a youth in their family with significant social, emotional, behavioral health, medical or trauma-related needs. This position is part-time 20 hours per week. Bilingual Spanish required ($2,500 language differential) What you’ll do: Drive program van and accompany other staff during ride. Complete daily documentation of children’s progress in the milieu. Perform duties as a Family Partner including maintaining contact with caregivers and conduct outreach to their families in their homes and communities as necessary. Other duties as assigned by program manager. What you’ll need: Education Associates degree in a human service field andone year of related experience with target population OR High School diploma/GED and a minimum of two years relevant experience. Experience: Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs (preferably mental health needs). Applicants must have at least one year of experience working with school age children Skills: Bilingual Spanish required (please indicate language skills on application) Valid Mass drivers license and offsite travel required.
