Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Physical Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for K-12 or appropriate grade levels
- Experience planning and delivering general education and physical education lessons
- Strong understanding of health, wellness, and fitness concepts
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and guide students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans focused on physical education as well as general educational subjects
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and tailor instruction to maximize student growth
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enrich student learning experiences
- Participate in school meetings, events, and ongoing professional development
