Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care within a busy Level I trauma center. The position requires adaptability across multiple service lines, including robotics and trauma, supporting both circulating and scrub responsibilities. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Active Iowa or IA license or multistate license, BLS (AHA), 24 months of current operating room experience, including hospital/medical center settings, with experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases required. Additional experience in neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular highly preferred. EMR experience within the past 3 years required. Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Job Details: Must have circulated or scrubbed in the operating room. No first-time travelers; previous travel experience within the last 15 months required. Must be proficient with EPIC electronic medical system. Will be required to float across all campuses and work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. Submission Requirements: Candidates should provide a resume/work history with at least 24 months of operating room experience, valid state license, BLS certification, driver's license, and references from within the past 24 months.
