Job Title: Physician – Department of Radiology, Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department: The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center We are currently interviewing candidates for all shifts and remote/hybrid opportunities are available for the right candidate. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and equitably shared among faculty. Traditional in-person, 8am – 5pm coverage Monday – Friday for both part-time and full-time positions, No evening or overnight call responsibilities. Evening Shift: 4pm – 1am; 7 days on, 14 days off. Position Overview The Department of Radiology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center seeks candidates for faculty positions in Abdominal Imaging who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. The responsibilities of this position will include patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students. Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology: Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging Service. Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging Service. Education, Training, and Faculty Development: Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level. Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities. Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department. Research and Scholarship: Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation. May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials. Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate.
