Outdoor Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced Outdoor Forklift Operator for a full-time, long-term temp-to-hire opportunity in Harrisonville, Missouri. This position requires an experienced forklift operator who is comfortable working outdoors and operating material-handling equipment in an active industrial environment. Experience operating larger outdoor forklifts is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, stage, and organize materials.
• Operate equipment primarily in an outdoor work environment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, storage areas, and production materials as needed.
• Safely maneuver large or heavy loads.
• Perform basic pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Work independently and as part of a team to keep materials moving efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Experience operating large outdoor forklifts strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift around equipment, materials, vehicles, and other employees.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently work the full scheduled shift.
• Must be available to work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
