Billing Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full‑time Accounts Receivable & Billing specialist to join our busy accounting firm. Donahue & Associates, a reputable accounting firm serving accounting needs to small business and individuals since 1983. Position Overview As a vital member of our busy accounting firm, you will handle administrative and billing tasks that are essential to our daily operations. The right candidate will be outgoing, well organized, responsible, courteous and professional at all times. Excellent customer service skills are required. Candidates should have at least 2 years hands‑on experience working in billing, ability to prioritize and work in a multi‑task environment. We offer a competitive salary that aligns with market standards. Key Responsibilities Manage billing processes and accounts receivable functions. Answer phones and greet clients warmly and professionally. Maintain an organized office environment, including inventory management for supplies. Schedule meetings and assist in the assembly and filing of tax returns. Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Support team members with additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in billing or accounts receivable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Excellent telephone etiquette and written/oral communication skills. Proficiency in 10‑key adding and date entry. Computer literacy is essential; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Outgoing, responsible, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times. Work Environment This position is office‑based, with typical hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, including extended hours and some Saturdays (9 AM to 2 PM) during the tax season.
