Bilingual Japanese Accounting Associate

A New Yorkbased non-profit organization is seeking a Business Support Service and Accounting Associate to support overseas business activities. This role involves business support services, accounting coordination, and general administrative duties within the Public Affairs Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to business inquiries and conduct mini research using web/databases and government resources
- Coordinate briefing services and liaise with internal departments
- Support seminars, exhibitions, and business-related events
- Manage departmental budgets and accounting processes
- Prepare payment documentation, vouchers, and travel expense reports
- Provide general administrative and office support
Requirements:
- BA/College degree or higher
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with accounting software preferred
- Experience in research, data analysis, or event coordination is a plus
Work Schedule: 35 hours/week, 9:00 AM5:00 PM Hybrid work arrangement: minimum 3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote
