We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Senior Associate to join the team in our Los Angeles office. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in‑person collaboration. While the cadence of in‑office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. Your Team This position will support our CHAMP Group. The CHAMP Group provides services to consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing clients. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. Your Role Responsibilities Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules Develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals In managing a team of staff associates, including interns, provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills. Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership. Your Experience The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a reputable public accounting firm Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting CPA or eligibility to sit for the exam Commercial industry experience a plus Knowledge of audit software CCH Engagement or other software a plus Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skill Universal Job Standards Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus; generous paid time off; expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best‑in‑class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
