Mechanical Engineer

Advance Design Consultants is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our San Jose office. We deliver innovative engineering solutions across healthcare, federal, high-tech, biopharmaceutical, and commercial markets. We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capability. Key Responsibilities Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, laboratory, and process piping systems Perform analysis, prepare construction documents, and develop specifications Ensure compliance with IMC, IPC, NFPA Manage the mechanical scope for projects of varying size and complexity. Conduct site visits, field observations, and support construction administration Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Support client presentations, RFP responses, and business development Qualifications PE License required 5+ years in an A/E or consulting engineering firm BS in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Strong communication and project management skills Experience in healthcare, federal, high-tech, or biopharma projects preferred LEED AP preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation 401(k) Continuing education reimbursement 2 weeks PTO (first year) 7 paid federal holidays If you’re passionate about design excellence and ready to take ownership of impactful projects, we’d love to connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr
