Process Operator Dip/Benching

Job Description The Process Operator II troubleshoots process problems during production. They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality. Responsibilities Use height gauges, calipers, hammers, and precision fixtures to adjust aluminum and copper parts to blueprint-defined tolerances. Interpret engineering drawings and quality specifications to determine dimensional requirements. Perform controlled mechanical adjustments to achieve precise fit, alignment, and form. Inspect parts to verify compliance with dimensional, visual, and quality standards. Handle and secure parts using approved tools and methods to prevent damage. Maintain an organized workstation and ensure tools and gauges are properly maintained. Accurately document measurements, adjustments, and inspection results per quality procedures. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Communicate with quality, engineering, and production teams to support workflow and resolve issues. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in area of responsibility. Experience using precision measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, and mechanical fixtures. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience manipulating metal parts to tight tolerances. Experience working with aluminum and copper materials preferred. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and repeatability. Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformance to specifications. Comfortable documenting measurements and work performed per quality procedures. Understanding of shop safety practices and proper tool handling preferred.
