About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: TELE Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of MS experience License: Georgia or compact license required Certifications: NIHSS required, BLS required Must-Have: IV insertion, PICC line experience, tele interpretation Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a tele specialty position. Ideal candidates will have 18 months of medical-surgical experience. A Georgia or compact nursing license is required. NIHSS certification is mandatory. BLS certification is also required. Candidates must have experience with IV insertion and PICC lines. Ability to interpret telemetry is essential. Special procedures performed on the unit include lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, NGT/feeding tube insertion, and NFT insertion. Top diagnoses and procedures include CHF, COPD, DM, sepsis, pneumonia, gastrointestinal bleeding, altered mental status, hypertension, renal failure, and heart failure.
