Accounting Assistant | $19/Hour | 9 :00am – 4 :00 pm, Monday - Friday

Job Description

The Accounting Assistant role will assist with business office responsibilities in Accounts Receivables, Payables, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with accounting records by reconciling monthly statements
• Assist in monthly billing statements based on general ledger
• Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments related to A/R
• Receive and verify expense reports
• Work with vendors on payments, purchase orders, discrepancies, collections

Qualifications and Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED
• Business or Accounting degree preferred
• 1 year previous experience in a similar accounting role is required
• Prior working experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks

The base salary range for this position is $19/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
