About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for Distribution in Alternatives, with a primary focus on hedge funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, supporting strategic sales initiatives, and building and maintaining client relationships. This role involves proactive outreach to generate new opportunities, supporting senior leadership in the sales process, and providing ongoing service to deepen client engagement. The VP will also contribute to marketing efforts, manage CRM systems, and travel as needed to support client meetings. Applicants for the VP Distribution - Alternatives position at the company should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in internal sales or client-facing roles within financial services. Active Series 7 and 63 (or 66) licenses with a clean record are required. The role demands a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a client-service orientation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, is essential. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline, is also preferred.
