About The Opportunity An industry-leading transportation technology organization is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to drive new business growth within the logistics and freight management sector. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building pipeline, winning competitive deals, and helping transportation companies modernize their operations through innovative SaaS technology. The company develops advanced transportation management and operational software designed to help trucking companies, freight brokers, and logistics providers streamline dispatching, accounting, fleet management, shipment visibility, and operational workflows. Their platform leverages automation and intelligent process optimization to improve profitability, increase transparency, and eliminate manual inefficiencies across the transportation lifecycle. Location Greater Denver Metro Area Travel Approximately 20% regional travel for customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows. What You’ll Own New Business Development Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new mid‑market and enterprise transportation and logistics customers. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through a combination of company-generated opportunities and self-sourced outbound prospecting efforts. Conduct strategic outreach through phone calls, virtual meetings, networking, and in‑person customer engagements. Develop relationships with operational leaders, transportation executives, dispatch managers, fleet operators, and logistics decision‑makers. Consultative Sales Execution Lead full‑cycle sales engagements from initial discovery through contract negotiation and successful handoff to implementation teams. Understand complex operational challenges within trucking, freight brokerage, fleet operations, dispatching, and transportation management environments. Position software solutions as business‑critical tools that improve operational efficiency, profitability, visibility, and workflow automation. Collaborate with technical and platform specialists to deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases. Pipeline & Territory Management Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and sales activity management within CRM platforms. Develop territory and account strategies focused on long‑term pipeline growth and recurring revenue generation. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales performance targets. What Makes You Successful Sales Expertise 5+ years of successful outside sales experience focused on mid‑market or enterprise customers. Demonstrated track record of outbound prospecting, pipeline creation, and quota attainment in highly competitive environments. Strong closing ability with experience navigating complex B2B sales cycles. Confidence selling both remotely and face‑to‑face with executive and operational stakeholders. Industry Knowledge Experience within transportation technology, logistics software, SaaS, fleet management, supply chain technology, or related B2B technology environments strongly preferred. Understanding of transportation operations including dispatch, freight brokerage, accounting workflows, fleet optimization, or logistics management is highly valuable. Operational Discipline Strong organizational and forecasting skills with the ability to manage pipeline metrics, sales activity, and revenue projections effectively. Comfortable working within CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar sales management systems. Highly self‑motivated with a proactive, hunter‑oriented mentality.
