Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Join a dedicated and innovative team specializing in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. This unit is recognized for its research and education opportunities, making it an ideal place for professional growth and development.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week with rotating shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as on-call responsibilities based on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in an orthopedic setting.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Assist in the implementation of research initiatives and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

Must have orthopedic nursing experience.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Valid RN license in New York.
Telemetry experience is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA.
