Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and global medical technology corporation serving customers across clinical laboratories, healthcare research, and the pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished R&D Engineering Technician I – Mechanical / Biomechanical Engineering .

Position: R&D Engineering Technician I

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417

Duration: 6+ month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: $27–$32/hour, depending on experience

Work Arrangement: On-site

Position Overview

The R&D Engineering Technician I will support new product and technology development through experimental planning, feasibility testing, data analysis, laboratory testing, and technical reporting .

This role is well suited for a Mechanical Engineering or Bio-Mechanical Engineering graduate interested in hands-on R&D, product development, laboratory testing, and medical device/medical technology engineering .

Key Responsibilities

• Independently plan and perform experiments supporting new product or technology feasibility testing.
\n
• Critically analyze data generated from experiments and interpret results.
\n
• Report experimental findings to R&D management and peers.
\n
• Identify and communicate product development implications arising from experimental results.
\n
• Prepare technical reports as required.
\n
• Maintain scientific equipment to support technical objectives and meet regulatory and governance requirements.
\n
• Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) consistent with product development objectives and regulatory guidelines.
\n
• Interface with engineering teams to support experimental design.
\n
• Perform testing of experimentally produced products as required.
\n

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bio-Mechanical Engineering
