Litigation Legal Assistant - Seattle, WA

Firm:

A nationally recognized AM Law 100 firm with 500+ attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to innovative companies from startups to global enterprises.

Role:

The Litigation Legal Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal teams within the firm. This role is responsible for managing case documentation, coordinating communications, maintaining schedules, and ensuring efficient daily operations of the legal practice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
• Draft, format, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court dates, and client appointments.
• Prepare and file documents with courts (electronic and physical filings).
• Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic).
• Conduct basic legal research as directed.
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred.
• Experience supporting litigation attorneys and paralegals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Situation:

Hybrid

• Base Salary: $80-110k+, commensurate with experience.
• Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
