Position Overview

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams by explaining every procedure with sensitivity and care
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-quality imaging results
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document all imaging procedures accurately, maintaining patient information within the electronic medical records system
• Keep informed of the latest advancements in sonographic techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
