Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of evolving ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
