The Opportunity: CNC Machinist Role: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills. You will set up, operate, and manufacture products according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities Setup and operate various CNC mill machines, adhering to the blueprint specifications. Conduct first piece inspection to ensure the part is free of defects and ready for the next stage of production. Comply with all aspects of 5S. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager. Reports To Machining Manager Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent. 3+ years experience in a machine shop environment. 3+ years experience working with mill machines. Preferred Qualifications: Associates in Precision Machining. Experience with multi‑axis CNC milling with FANUC controls, MAZAK, or similar. Experience in horizontal mill machines. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00 – $32.00 per hour.
