As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting access control and alarm response activities. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology workplace by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, policy concerns, and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
