You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in required reports and shift logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
