This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from now through December 21 and focuses on supporting students in grades 3-5. The position involves both push-in and pull-out instruction, working closely with a resource group of approximately 10 students to provide targeted academic and behavioral interventions.

Qualifications and Credentials:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-age special education students is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource teacher for grades 3-5, managing a caseload of around 10 students at a single school location
• Deliver special education services via pull-out and push-in models based on student IEPs
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
