Physician - Psychiatrist

Job Description

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Psychiatrist for a 144-day assignment in New York, commencing Oct 1, 2026. This full-time inpatient opportunity involves providing comprehensive care, with typical shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, alongside essential night and weekend call coverage. The Physician will primarily manage 5-10 adult/adolescent patients daily and handle 0-5 consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide full-time inpatient psychiatric coverage
• Participate in night and weekend call rotations
• Work approximately 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• See primarily adult and adolescent patients, if willing and able
• Manage a daily caseload of 5-10 adult patients
• Conduct 0-5 consultations daily
